Balinese people are friendly and hard working. Nearly every native born Balinese comes from a village where their values and view of the world has been formed. Most people have a reasonable knowledge of English so communication is relatively easy. They are good sales people without being overbearing. The Balinese are honest and believe that doing wrong to others creates bad karma. One day I was walking along a busy street and dropped my wallet as I removed a video camera from my backpack. In no time at all a young woman tapped me on the shoulder and returned my wallet to me with all money and credit cards intact.
