Every taxi driver in Kuta will want to take you to Jimbaran Bay for seafood because they all receive a kick-back from the restaurants. There is no question that the setting is magnificent, however don't expect a lot from the food. Our experience has been that the prawns are very poor in quality and that the lobster is over priced. Fish can be OK depending on how it is cooked. Plan to have at least one meal on the beach at Jimbaran Bay (just for the experience) but if you want excellent seafood then you should go to the Dewi Sri Restaurant at Tuban.
